Photos and "Do the corals really look like that?"

Oh how I love when I get a coral in my tank and no matter what lighting I use, it just never looks anything like the photo.  Couple that with a certain amount of discrepancy between everyone's computer, phone, tablet screen settings.  Now toss in the myriad possible combinations of lighting your corals within the hobby these days and  you can see the difficulty.  That being said, it is very tricky to take a good photo and represent the corals properly.  All my photos are taken by me personally from my tanks.  I adjust white balance and if necessary color balance so the image best represents what I see under the stated spectrum.  I will do my best to have a photo under 'daylight' and blues.  Blues being equal amounts LED UV, Violet, Royal Blue, Blue.  Daylight being the same thing with about 8% Red 8% Green and 30% White.  I make no guarantee's though as taking photos and making sure they meet my standards is very time consuming!

Is the coral healthy and/or "did you just get this in from a supplier and drop it onto your website to sell for a quick turn over?"

Uh NOTHING and I mean NOTHING goes onto the website for sale until I am certain it's healthy.  This means no new frags from my own corals.  Frags I make are held for at least a couple weeks to let them heal and recover.  Corals from other suppliers are held for at least a couple weeks on aqua-cultured livestock and several weeks (often longer) for maricultured livestock.
